Jarmila Logie has been a practicing architect in South Africa for 50 years. Jarmila was a partner at the architectural firm of Meyer Pienaar until 1992, after which she then branched out on her own to form Jarmila Logie Associates. Jarmila has, consistently through the years, employed and worked with young, talented architects and designers to form the firm’s architectural and technical team. In 2008 she appointed Hannah Alexandre as an associate and regards the talent of young associates as an essential component to the company’s success.
Hannah Alexandre received her BSc in Interior Architecture in 2005. She joined Jarmila Logie at JLA in 2006 and has successfully participated in many new & remodelled home projects since. In 2008 Hannah became an associate in the firm. Hannah further obtained her decorating diploma and along with Jarmila they have remained dedicated in seeing a project through to the the end, combining their talents and being involved in all the intricate details required to make a house a home.

So, while we are accomplished and renowned for our residential builds, alterations, and small shopping centres; we have welcomed the ability to take designing and building guest lodges for both bush and beach into our practice. This fresh look at the combination of glamour and luxury within a natural setting have left us renewed with a passion for designing legacy structures in nature.
